Proposed by the Company ¡Ay Castaña!, the show Al lado tuyo (“At your side”) is a reflection on the importance of the links that unite us, in a context where our relationships are upset.
The idea emerged naturally at the time of the company’s long-awaited artistic reunion following the first confinement.
It is a traditional flamenco show mixing dance, singing, guitar and palmas. Its raw and poetic character is based on an unparalleled connection between the four artists who compose it.
Even as the idea of proximity is weakened or even banned, the stage space appears as an essential place for sharing and exchange, and it is through an intimate show that the dancers and their musicians wanted to sign their reunion with their audience.
